Just about all professional photography applies very quick shutter speeds, merely allowing light into the camera just for a fraction of a second. By possessing a lengthier shutter speed of a few seconds can help the camera to take more light to the sensor creating long exposure photography. It indicates that the camera can read much more “data” from the scene and acquire more detail in a low light condition, making a handful of truly wonderful results.
Long exposure photography is certainly one of the few greatest ways of taking pictures. It needs a longer shutter speed, varying from 1/2 sec up to minutes or even an hour. Long exposure photography requires leaving the shutter open for extended durations of time to enable significantly more light to be captured. As an example, capturing a busy road during the night can result in an image of light streaks moving around the stationary structures in the background. Long exposure photography requires using a long duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary aspects of images while blurring, smearing, or obscuring its moving elements.
Following are some terrific examples of long exposure photography caught by experienced photography enthusiasts which may be inspirations for your forthcoming project.

Rock climbing has its perils but it can be endlessly thrilling at the same time as it takes you to the most awesome natural spots of the world. However, you normally do not undertake this adventure activity without taking some self-protective measures. One such extraordinary person to brave the towering elevations world over without taking any safety measures was the legendary sports practitioner Dan Osman. Known for his spine chilling “free-soloing” and “rope jumping” ventures, this Asian American daredevil set a record for a 1000 feet freefall. If you aspire to test your fortitude and reach somewhere near that mark, you must start by knowing the most desirable rock climbing sites of the world more closely.

The name of this elevated region sums up to “suspended rock” and it holds only the second place of importance to the Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Kalambaka, Greece after Mount Athos. Located between the Peneios River and Pindus Mountains, these monasteries have a spectacular series of natural sandstone rock pillars in their background. This UNESCO World Heritage Site happens to be the shelter of about six monasteries and one of the spots for potential rock climbing importance.

Hand From Above is the latest project by Chris O’Shea where a giant hand tickles, resizes and even picks up pedestrians that are within the range of what the camera projects on the big screen.
Chris O’Shea was commissioned by Abandon Normal Devices and Liverpool City Council for BBC Big Screen Liverpool and the Live Sites Network to create something for the BBC Big Screen. Hand From Above interacts with unsuspecting pedestrians; it can tickle, stretch, flick or remove them entirely on the big screen. Chris used OpenFrameworks and OpenCV to build this software.
